Mr. Quiles-Matias is a December 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, with a B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice and minor in Communication. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Mr. Quiles-Matias graduated from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and High School in 2010 and was determined to pursue higher education in the continental United States. During his time at UMSL, he worked as a tour guide in the Welcome Center where he showed prospective students and their families around the UMSL campus as well as answering any and all questions they might have along the way. Mr. Quiles-Matias also worked as an Undergraduate Mentor by assisting with the instruction of a first-year experience course, which included facilitating in-class activities and encouraging student engagement on campus outside of the classroom. He also served as a New Student Orientation Leader where he assisted future students in making the adjustment to UMSL during various welcoming sessions throughout the summer. Mr. Quiles-Matias was also a member of the UMSL Tritons Baseball team where he both played and served as a Student Assistant Coach over the course of four seasons. Mr. Quiles-Matias is fluent in Spanish. Post-MCAC, Antonio plans to continue to work with youth or in the university setting. Antonio serves as the MCAC College Adviser at Ritenour High School in St. Louis.

Ms. Kampschroeder is in her 27th year in education and 19th working with First Generation students applying to college. She served on the MOACAC executive board for 12+ years in various roles. In 2014 she was chosen as the one College Counselor in the United States to earn the National Association of College Admission Counselors Award for assisting students with college access.
