Huskies Ambassadors
Grecia RamirezGrecia Ramirez is involved in Ritenour Leadership, Ritenour Social Justice Club, National Honor Society and now the Ritenour College Ambassador program. Grecia is a junior soccer player at Ritenour and is planning on attending a 4-year university where she will study law. She hopes to help others see their potential through this program and lead them in the right direction. She has benefited from her experience at Ritenour and many ways and hopes to help in assisting others to achieve the same. She strives for success and is very hungry for knowledge. Her involvement within the community has helped her gain many unforgettable experiences and she hopes to get others involved as well. She hopes to help younger students gain knowledge on what they can pursue in the future.

Janet VelasquezJanet Velasquez is a junior at Ritenour High School. Janet enjoys being involved at school as a part of Leadership and Social Justice organizations. Helping others is one her biggest passions in life along with continuing to grow as a person and working to make a change in the world. Janet enjoys being involved in whatever she can get her hands on. Outside of school, Janet is involved in the Wyman Teen Leadership Program which helps students prepare for college. After high school, Janet plans to attend a four year university.
Calin HoganCalin Hogan is a part of the graduating class of 2017 at Ritenour High School. Calin is a member of the football team, leadership program and the Social Justice Club. Calin is planning on going to college for Athletic Training or Physical Therapy. When he is not in school, Calin enjoys working on homework, studying or working out. He feels that he does as much as he can to achieve his overall goal in life, which is to be the best that he can be at anything he sets his mind to.

Daniel CarrollDaniel Carroll, a junior at Ritenour, tries to incorporate himself in literally everything he can get into. He is involved in football, wrestling, track & field, Social Justice, RCO, the Ritenour Student Panel, the Congressional Youth Cabinet and is an honor role student. The colleges he is interested in attending include MIT and Missouri S&T. His life long goal ever since he could walk was to become an engineer. Other goals of his include to change and explore the world and go down in history for his achievements.

A'NIYAH LOFTONAniyah Lofton is a junior at Ritenour High School and tries to be involved as much as she can. She is very dedicated to her family, friends and education. She is part of her Ritenour's leadership program. She is not quite sure what college she wants to attend yet, but she definitely wants to figure it out as soon as possible. She also loves helping others and encouraging others to be leaders as well. Aniyah is a very outgoing and open-minded person. She plans to get a Masters in Psychology.
Breon GainesBreon Gaines is a junior at Ritenour High School. Breon plays for the Drumline at Ritenour which he has been a part of for two years. He has also been a part of the Ritenour band for 4 years playing in both the Concert Band and Symphonic Band. Breon is also a member of Wyman TLP. After he graduates high school, he hopes to go to the University of Missouri - Columbia to obtain a Bachelors in Broadcasting & Journalism. Breon loves music, making people laugh and writing. He enjoys working hard and seeing the outcomes.

College ambassadors program
The program is designed for Ambassadors to:
· Assist the adviser with fostering a college-going culture in the school (putting up bulletin boards, creating glass display cases, helping with ACT or college acceptance recognition, posting information about upcoming events, create posters advertising upcoming college planning activities, make school announcements related to college);
· Be trained to help the adviser present college planning information to underclass student classes (7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th graders);
· Assist the adviser with planning and facilitating Decision Day or any other major college planning activities or programs;
· Receive intensive college planning advisement so they are better prepared for college admission and attendance;
· Build a peer-to-peer college advising model in the school, knowing that peers are highly influenced by their peers.
